MFM DAILY DEVOTIONAL 25TH JUNE 2023

God is the giver of finances and we are only stewards. For you to record financial breakthrough, the first thing you need to do is to take action to charge your situation. What does this mean? – It means you are to take control of money instead of allowing money to control you.

There are seven financial tips you must know and follow in order to manage your finances effectively and gain financial freedom.
The first tip for your financial freedom is tithing. This is the most important of all the seven tips. For you to experience financial breakthroughs, you must not hold back what belongs to God. Your tithe is the 10% of what God has given you. Refusal to give your tithe is robbing God and by doing that you deny yourself of the blessings attached to faithfulness in tithing (Mal. 3:10-12).

The second tip for your financial freedom is that you should make a financial plan (Proverbs 21:5). Faithful accomplishment requires that work be patiently carried out according to a plan. Diligence does not come naturally to most people. It is a result of strong character. Don’t look for quick and easy answers. Be a diligent servant to God. Budgeting, planning for retirement and saving for emergencies are all ways of being diligent by planning ahead.

The third tip is to work hard. Proverbs 6:6-11 reveals that ants are very diligent and hard working. They make provisions for their needs at the right time. This passage wams against giving in to temptation of laziness and sleeping instead of working. This does not mean we should not rest, but we should be hardworking. So beloved, for you to prosper financially, work hard and don’t be lazy.

The fourth tip is for you to set priorities (Proverbs 24:27). This means that you must make provisions for the essentials before any other thing. A farmer needs to plant his seeds first in the season of planting so that he will have money to build his house. What this means is that you should carry out your work in its proper order.
