Who Is Dk Olukoya?
Dk Olukoya is one of the most respected pastors in Nigeria, Africa, and the World at Large. He is the General overseer of the Mountain Of Fire and Miracles ministry, as well as the Chancellor of the Mountain Top University.
DK Olukoya has written many books that have brought deliverance to many lives and families, he is also the owner of the MFM football club, a Lagos-based club that competes in the Nigerian profesSional Football league.
Dr Daniel Olukoya was born in Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria, to Mr. Olukoya, a police officer, and Mrs. Olukoya, a trader. He was acknowledged as a child of remarkable intelligence while enrolled at St. John’s CAC Primary School, Akure, and excelled throughout his time there. When his family later relocated to Lagos, he enrolled at St. Jude’s Primary School in Ebute Metta, where he graduated with good grades.
DKO then made his way to the Methodist Boys’ High School (MBHS), (established in 1878) located on Broad Street in Lagos. By the way, this is where he experienced a rebirth. He also met an Indian instructor at MBHS who once told his students, “Boys, if you want to escape poverty, READ YOUR BOOK!” DKO steadfastly adhered to this instruction, studying every day from 9 p.m. until 3 a.m. DKO graduated as one of the best students in his class at MBHS.
Asides from being a police officer, DKO’s father was a minister at the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC). He, therefore, acquired Christian beliefs from his Christian upbringing. DKO was devoted to serving the Lord Jesus Christ throughout his entire time in school. During his doctoral studies in the UK, his fire for Jesus and spiritual things significantly grew.
The legacy of late CAC church founder Apostle Joseph Ayodele Babalola has had a significant impact on DKO’s ministry. Apostle Babalola is mentioned by DKO in the Prayer Rain and Prayer Passport books.
Shade Olukoya Provides strong leadership alongside her husband, she is a graduate of the Darnley Career Academy, a college of arts, fashion, and textile design, in London, United Kingdom, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree and a certification in fine arts and interior design.
Mrs shade olukoya is a gifted artist, Almost all 250 of her husband’s books (as of July 2015) were artistically illustrated by her.
