Joel Osteen Daily Inspiration for Today 9th December 2022.
Psalm 113 says, “He stoops down from the heavens to look at the earth. He lifts the poor from the dirt, and the needy from the ash heap. He sets them among princes.” Notice what He does: He doesn’t just bring you out but He honors you. He sets you among princes. He doesn’t hold your mistakes against you. He takes what was meant for your harm and uses it to your advantage.
When God wanted to promote David, take him out of the shepherd’s fields, He didn’t send him a good break, a friend to help him out. No, God sent him a problem. Goliath was standing before David, a giant twice his size. David could have thought, “God, You said I was going to do great things. You said You were going to show me favor.
Why am I facing this giant?” But David understood with that problem came promotion. On the other side of that difficulty was a new level of his destiny. You have to go through it to get to it. Some promotion only comes through adversity, through closed doors, through things that are not fair.
