It says in Psalms, “Even in famine, the righteous will have more than enough.” It doesn’t say God will get you out of famine so you can have more than enough. It doesn’t say He’ll stop the famine, stop the people at work doing you wrong, stop the injustice, then you’ll be blessed. No, you are blessed in the trouble. You are blessed in the famine. The blessing doesn’t stop the adversity, but it causes you to prosper in the famine, to triumph in the trouble, to have a smile in the sickness, to keep on praising when nothing seems to be working.
