Joel Osteen Daily Inspiration for Today 4th November 2022.
So often, we try to hide our scars. We don’t see anything positive about them. They remind us of the hurt, the sickness, the accident, the divorce. We wish they would go away. But you need to see your scars in a new light. God didn’t allow that scar to discourage you. He allowed it to remind you of what He brought you through.
When you see that scar, don’t think of the pain; think of the grace of God. The scar means the wound has healed. The scar means the pain is over and you’re moving forward. The scar means that what worried you and kept you awake at night is now behind you.
Don’t waste your time trying to figure everything out. There are some things you’re not supposed to understand right now. We can’t see the plan of God. We can’t fathom how He does things. We think natural; He’s supernatural. If you’re always trying to figure it out, it’s going to frustrate you.
Instead of using that energy trying to understand what’s happening, use it to thank God that He’s working, thank Him that He’s fighting your battles, thank Him that He’s making crooked places straight, thank Him that you’re surrounded by His favor.
