Gracious and loving Creator, On this special day in the month of July, we gather together to express our gratitude and thanksgiving for the many blessings in our lives. We come before you with hearts full of appreciation, recognizing that every good and perfect gift comes from your hand.
We give thanks for the freedom we enjoy in our country, for the opportunities and privileges that are ours. We are grateful for the men and women who have sacrificed their lives, serving our nation and protecting our liberties. May their bravery and selflessness never be forgotten.
In this time of gathering with family and friends, we appreciate the love and support that surrounds us. We are grateful for the bonds that tie us together, the laughter and joy we share, and the memories we create. May our relationships continue to grow stronger and may we always cherish the precious moments we have with our loved ones.
We remember those who are less fortunate, who may be experiencing hardship or loneliness. May we extend a helping hand to those in need, showing them compassion and offering them hope. Teach us to be instruments of your love and mercy in the world, bringing light into the lives of others.
