Love Worth Finding is a Television and Radio Ministry founded by Adrian Rogers in the United States. Serving as its president and CEO and chairman of the board of directors prior to his passing in 2003, it was broadcast on 2,000 radio stations in the United States and more than 120 other countries, as well as more than 14,000 television stations. The ministry is saddled with the responsibility to lead individuals to Christ and help them grow spiritually.
Adrian Rogers has experience in radio and television broadcasting prior to the start of Love Worth Finding in 1987 as a pastor and Bible teacher. People started asking for cassettes of the messages, and as the requests grew, Dr. Rogers remarked, “We sensed God was bringing us into a bigger ministry.” Love Worth Finding fulfilled that function as an extension of his preaching ministry, and it continues to this day to lead people to Christ and help them grow in the faith. HISTORY OF LOVE WORTH FINDING MINISTRIES PROFILE.
The Love Worth Finding Ministries was founded in the year 1987 when the demand for the sermons and audio tapes of Adrian Rogers began high, the Love Worth Finding Ministry served as an extension to his ministry.
The daily 30-minute radio broadcasts were on 19 radio stations, while the 1-hour television broadcasts started on 17 stations. Love Worth Finding is currently broadcast on more than 2500 radio stations and by translators. Over 90% of American television households have access to the broadcast, which also airs in 194 other nations. Adrian Rogers also served as a pastor in the Bellevue Baptist Church.
Bellevue Baptist Church is a Southern Baptist megachurch in Memphis, Tennessee’s Cordova. One of the top congregations in the Southern Baptist Convention, Bellevue is the biggest church in Memphis. “Love God, Love People, Share Jesus, and Make Disciples” are the objectives of Bellevue. However, Steve Gaines has served as the church’s senior pastor since 2005 after the death of Adrian Rogers.
Adrian Rogers, was the most well-known pastor of the congregation and served as senior pastor of Bellevue Baptist Church from 1972 until March 2005. The church’s membership increased from 9,000 to nearly 29,000 throughout this time. The congregation unanimously chose Rogers to be the new pastor after he had given the sermon.
