World Changers Church International was founded and established in the year 1981 by Creflo Dollar an American Pastor and Televangelist. The Establishment of WCCI began While Creflo Dollar was an undergraduate student at Carrollton, Georgia’s West Georgia College, Creflo Dollar had the idea for WCCI. He began a Bible study there and was inspired to give it the name “World Changers Bible Study.” Students were enthralled by the lessons because they could now understand the Bible and start to find solutions to the difficult challenges that life presents.
His lively teaching gained widespread acclaim on campus, and the Bible study attracted more than one hundred participants. These Bible lessons brought Creflo Dollar and Taffi Bolton together as they connected, and got closer, and in December 1986 they got married.
Creflo’s persistence and dedication was commissioned by God as he started a local church and served as its pastor. In 1986, eight people attended the inaugural service of World Changers Ministries, which was held in the cafeteria of Kathleen Mitchell Elementary School. Starting his ministry there, he had extra passion because Creflo had been the first black male to integrate Kathleen Mitchell Elementary as a child. Within two years, the cafeteria was unable to accommodate the expanding crowd. When the ministry started looking for a new venue, they bought the former Atlanta Christian Center Church in College Park in 1988.
The ministry kept expanding quickly until it needed four services every Sunday to accommodate its membership, which by that point had risen to almost 10,000. The ministry took a huge leap of faith in 1991 when it decided to construct a new sanctuary without using any bank finance or loans. Four years later, after a number of miracles, the 8,500-seat World Dome, which had been both prayed for and completely paid for, Members of World Changers Church International are instructed to use biblical principles in their life, much as the ministry did in its early days, and the debt-free building of the World Dome is an example of this.

How do you become a member of wcci ?
There is no official membership process; after three visits, you are considered a member of the World Changers Church International. Each service ends with a reception, where you may get to know some of the church staff members. Also, You can become a member by visiting the WCCI website.
World Changers Church Int’l Beliefs
At World Changers Church International, they boldly affirm the following;
- That Jesus Christ is the son of God, and that he was crucified, he died and on the third day rose again.
- Depending on whether you choose to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, eternal life will continue in either heaven or hell after death. That those who have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior will be taken up into the air to meet Him when the Rapture takes place, with the dead in Christ rising first.
