Every generation has a role to play in the kingdom of God. From the oldest to the youngest, He has a purpose for each one of us.
From the more mature generation, the body of Christ counts on your mentorship. Tell us the stories of God’s protection and provision in your lives. We need the power of your prayers covering us. Encourage us to dig deep and dream big…like you.
From the so-called “sandwich generation,” the body of Christ relies on you to bridge the gap between the older and younger generations. We need to see the sacrificial ways that you minister to aging parents and your own children. Lead with character and the convictions that your parents poured into you. Show us how faithfulness to the Lord looks from one generation to the next.
From the younger generation, the body of Christ depends on you to carry the gospel into the future. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, we trust that you will hit the mark to bring down the schemes of Satan. We count on your devotion to God’s Word, your passion and your vision to advance Christ’s kingdom.
Each one of us has a vital role to play in God’s family. He places each member into the body and asks us to care tenderly for one another. It’s the role of a lifetime!
