We want to do it all. “Yes, I’ll come. Yes, I’ll work late. Yes, I’ll be there for you. Yes, I’ll make sacrifices so you can go further.” But there will be times you have to say, “Sorry, I have to take care of me. I have to protect my health. I have to let my mind rest. I have to release this stress.”
Sometimes we’re holding on to things that are overwhelming us. What you won’t say no to can make you unhealthy. You’ve been there for everyone else; why don’t you be there for you? Why don’t you make yourself a priority.

Friend, God never said we wouldn’t have difficulties. Being a person of faith doesn’t exempt us from challenges and unfair situations. That’s a part of life. The promise in today’s Scripture is not that you won’t have difficulties, but that God will bring you out of “them all.” When you’re in the adversity, your report should be, “I’m coming out. This sickness is temporary. This trouble is not the end. This addiction is not permanent.
This slowdown in my business is just for a season.” Right now, you may not be able to see it, but God is in the adversity with you and is in the process of bringing you out. You’re not going to come out the same.
You’re going to come out stronger, free from things that were holding you back, with a greater trust in God, a greater confidence, a greater faith. That’s getting you prepared for the next level of your destiny. With every experience, something is deposited in you that you’re going to use down the road.
