Living in Two Worlds
Superhero fictions are very interesting to watch and these days they aren’t for kids anymore. I am intrigued by the fact that most Superheroes come to earth from a different location. Another fascinating attribute is that they mostly have different bodies to function in both locations. When they need to intervene, there is always a transformation into the real being that they are. These attributes of Superheroes are similar to the reality of a believer.
A Christian lives in two worlds simultaneously. When you got born-again, you were birthed in God’s Kingdom and you are registered as a Citizen of Heaven. Yet you are fully functional on Earth as a human being with all your attributes same as before your new-creation experience. The difference is that your human spirit is alive to God and you can now communicate with your home country.
