TREM DEVOTIONAL FOR 25TH MAY 2022
According to the Word of God, the believer does not belong to himself. He belongs to God. “What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost, which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore, glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which is God’s”. (1 Corinthians 6:19-20 KJV).
Jesus Christ bought you with His own life. It was a death and life affair. That is why you must be careful how you conduct yourself. You cannot conduct yourself anyhow. Anywhere you go as a businessperson, honor Jesus. In your career, in your profession, in your ministry, and your family, you are the church.

And God expects you to carry yourself in such a way that will bring honor and glory to His Name. “What? know ye not that he which is joined to a harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh. But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body, but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. (1 Corinthians 6:16-18 KJV).
When you truly understand who you are and your standing in Christ, then you will come to the full realization that you cannot afford to live just anyhow. It will change a lot of things in the way you behave.
Let’s consider other scriptures in this regard. “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye is the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk-in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,” (2 Corinthians 6 KJV).
Child of God, you are light and so you should not be found with anything that has to do with darkness. You are Christ’s, you are not part of demonic activities. You are the temple of the living God.
