TREM DEVOTIONAL FOR 4TH OCTOBER 2020.

During the earthly ministry of Jesus, the enemy came to tempt Him. Jesus responded with “it is written”. He came another way and Jesus said, “it is written”. The devil came the third time and Jesus said: “Get thee hence Satan for it is written”. (Matthew 4:10 KJV).

And the scriptures said that: “……. the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him”(Matthew 4:11 KJV). In other words, Satan left Him because Jesus knew the truth.

For long you have been speaking like the people of the world. That must stop. You are a spirit. Just like Jesus. All the time, He kept listening and living from the mouth of the Father. That was why His Words carried so much authority and power.

The religious leaders of His time repeatedly said, ‘we have never seen a man speak like this man What He is saying is totally different from what we used to know’. The truth is that other religious rulers were speaking letters, not the spirit. But the coming of Christ changed everything. We are spirits and of a higher class. Don’t you understand that when witches see you, they dodge? They only succeed in attacking the people who don’t know. But when they know that you know who they are, they will run away from you.

Now think of what Prophet Elijah did according to 1Kings chapter 17. He appeared from nowhere and shut down rain according to his word. This was in the Old Testament. How much more now that you are a new creation in Christ Jesus. You have been accepted in the beloved. You are a son, not a servant. A son cannot be a servant because a son is superior to a servant. Hallelujah!

Beloved, from today, I want you to know that your word carries power. When you speak, witches and wizards will be on the run. They cannot be comfortable in your territory because you are a superior spirit.
