TREM DEVOTIONAL FOR 22ND MARCH 2021

The reason Jesus shed His blood was for you to be redeemed from sin and for your sins to be forgiven. But the reason He hung on the cross was to take away every curse. The Bible says: “cursed is everyone that hangeth on a tree”. So, He hung on the cross in order to redeem you from every curse. Therefore, when a believer says he is cursed, it is an insult on the work of Christ, because you are saying that He did nothing.

Beloved, know assuredly that Christ has redeemed you from curse. So, no matter the curse that is in your family, it will not have any effect in your life because you are a child of God. You have a different foundation! Yes, it may still be happening in your family. But your case is different! You are a child of the Kingdom.

Never equate yourself with others! Now that you are in Christ, God is your Father. You are standing on the platform of Grace. It is a free gift to you! But Jesus paid for it- a complete payment, once and for all! Your own payment was not good enough; hence, He had to pay. Aren’t you glad that you are not called to pay? You are only called to enjoy!

You know we used to say,” let me do this and move God.” You don’t need to say that. That is the beauty of your foundation in Christ. He already moved on your behalf before you came to the scene. So, He is not agitated by whatever the devil does. He is comfortable, knowing that He has spoken once and for all. “God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God” (Psalms 62:11 KJV).
