TREM DEVOTIONAL FOR 14TH SEPTEMBER 2020.

God in His mercy and love did not plan for man to live in the bondage of generational curses. That is not His agenda. You hear that in some families, no one succeeds in anything. If you put money in their hands, it will fizzle out, but God is merciful.

So, when He says you should be born again, it is for your good, so that you don’t partake of the curse that was already released on earth as a result of your origin. Praise God! When you are born again, you are a child of the Most-High.

Romans 8: 15-17: “For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit Himself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.”

You are an heir of God. That means you have an inheritance. You have been adopted into the family of God. So your earthly family, no matter the name, was just the avenue and channel through which God released you into this world. Now that you are born again, you are a child of God and God is your father. You must no longer see yourself after the flesh. You are born of the Spirit.

2 Corinthians 5:14-15 (MSG) says “Our firm decision is to work from this focused center: One man died for everyone. That puts everyone in the same boat. He included everyone in his death so that everyone could also be included in his life, a resurrection life, a far better life than people ever lived on their own.”

Beloved, better life is your portion. He died so that you can live a better life. Hypertension is not better life. Diabetes is not better life. Bone disease, blood condition and barrenness do not represent better life. He came that you might have life and have it abundantly. Abundant life means life to the fullest. I declare that abundant life is your portion.
