The enemy wants you to see yourself as a grasshopper. You have wings, but you can’t get off the ground. “Sure, you have potential, but you’re just a grasshopper. You’ll never do anything great. The opposition is too big, the sickness, the addiction, the dream, there’s no way. Look at what you’re up against.
” No, that’s the wrong image. You’re not a grasshopper. The Scripture says, “You will mount up with wings like an eagle.” You were created to soar, to rise above what’s trying to stop you, to overcome what’s holding you back, to leave your family better than it was. But it’s going to come down to this: do you see yourself as a grasshopper or do you see yourself as an eagle?
