Paul said in Romans, “As far as you can, live at peace with every person.” It doesn’t say that you’re always going to be at peace with everyone. Some people don’t want to have peace with you. “Joel, shouldn’t I go the extra mile, shouldn’t I be the bigger person?” Yes, but if you do all that and they still don’t want to have peace, you need to move on. You have a destiny to fulfill. Your assignment is waiting on you. You can’t worry about people that don’t want to have peace with you. I’m all for being nice, but at some point, you have to put your foot down and say, “You may have a problem with me, no disrespect, but I don’t have time to have a problem with you. I don’t have time to play games and try to convince you that I’m okay.”
