Imagine how David felt when he was chosen to face Goliath. That didn’t make sense. He could have thought, “This is not God choosing me; this is the devil trying to get me killed.” Goliath was twice his size. He had more training, more armor, more experience. But God doesn’t call you without equipping you. What you have may seem small in comparison to what you’re up against. Just a slingshot, a few stones, but when God breathes on it, it will bring down giants. God’s favor on your slingshot is more powerful than an army coming against you.
Don’t talk yourself out of your dreams; talk yourself into your dreams. “This giant may be big, but I know I’ve been chosen. God wouldn’t have allowed it if I wasn’t well able. I can do all things through Christ.”
