As long as you’re striving, you’re limited to what you can accomplish. The problem is we all face giants that are too big, people that are more powerful, a medical report that says there’s no way. Our strength, our effort, our talent, no matter how hard we try, will not be enough. That’s why God said, “Apart from Me, you can do nothing” (John 15:5). You can’t overcome that challenge, you can’t break the addiction, you can’t accomplish your dream just with your own will power, your own hard work. You need power from on high.
