Quit telling yourself, “It’s too hard; they did me wrong; it’s been so long.” Turn it around. “I can handle every season through Christ. It’s winter. I don’t like it. I’m uncomfortable, but I can handle winter. I know God is still on the throne. I’ve been armed with strength for this battle. I don’t like this loneliness, but I’m not going to fall apart.
I can handle a lonely season; I can handle this season of fighting a sickness; I can handle this season where I’m not seeing any fruit. I’m not going to drag through it, complaining. I’m going to keep a song of praise. I’m going to keep being my best.
