MFM DAILY DEVOTIONAL 18TH JUNE 2020
Victory begins when the power behind is effectively dealt with. Beloved, there are dark powers behind every dark battle. The power behind must be dealt with. Sometime ago, we prayed for a young man who had ‘A’ in all the subjects he sat for at the Senior School Certificate Examination.
However, whenever he sat for the Joint Admission Matriculation Examination to enter into a University, his result was always withheld because his score was always too high and it was assumed that he cheated.
One day, he attended one of our prayer meetings and we prayed for him. That night, he had a dream in which he saw himself at the gate of one of the Universities in the South of Nigeria and a masquerade was standing there, insisting that he would not go in. He got to another university in the Northern part of Nigeria and the masquerade was also at its gate; and it also barred him from going in.
He saw himself in front of another university which he had never been to before and he still saw the same masquerade which did not allow him to enter. So, for the first time in his life, it became clear to him that there was an enemy warring against his educational breakthrough.
The parable of the wheat and the tares lifted the lid of the secret behind source of the failure of many of us. It is when men slept that the sinister activities of the powers of darkness took place. Such an enemy needs to be faced with serious warfare weapons. If you have had a pattern of failures or disappointments you are to note that you should take up your spiritual warfare weapons and go against your enemy with unrepentant violence.
