2021 TEENS VOLUME RHAPSODY OF REALITIES MESSAGE.
The word translated “reign” in our opening scripture is the Greek word “basileuo.” In its noun form, it’s rendered as “basileus” which means “king,” as used repeatedly in Matthew 1:6. However, in the opening verse above, it’s used in its verb form, “Basileuo” which means “to king” or “be king.” So, you could actually say, “Those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will “king” or “be kings” in life through Jesus Christ” Revelation 1:6 says He’s made us kings and priests unto God.
What do kings do? They rule and reign; they exercise authority and dominion over their realm! This is the life we’ve been called to, but without an understanding of righteousness, you really can’t live victoriously over the adversary and adversities. You’ll be subject to the elements of this world, whereas you’re meant to “king” over them.
Righteousness is the divine acquittal by faith, on the basis of the new creation in Christ Jesus. It’s a gift from God to the whole world, activated for those who receive and confess the Lordship of Jesus. They’re the ones to reign in life! The Amplified Classic version says “…they shall reign as kings in life.”
Righteousness gives you dominion, eliminates guilt, condemnation or inferiority, and places you above Satan and his accusations. Righteousness also gives you the boldness and confidence to pray to God and expect answers. You’re unafraid and unashamed before Him. Become more conscious that you’re the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. You have dominion over Satan and the rulers of the darkness of this world.
