2021 TEENS VOLUME RHAPSODY OF REALITIES MESSAGE.

Imagine this: A young father, Sebastian, got his son Daniel a brand-new gift phone for his birthday: while unboxing the phone to check its features, Daniel accidentally dropped it, and the screen suffered a massive crack. Not too happy that his son had damaged the phone, Sebastian went ahead to get the phone screen fixed and even added a protective screen guard and casing to prevent further drop damage before re-presenting the phone to Daniel. Now, would you still call Daniel’s phone brand new? No, you wouldn’t because a brand-new phone isn’t the same as a newly refurbished one. It might look new, but, in actuality, it’s now refurbished.

Your new life in Christ isn’t like Daniel’s refurbished phone. It’s totally brand new, and the newness is both in type and quality! The Bible declares in 2 Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away, behold, all things have become new.” The Greek rendering of the phrase “a new creation” actually means “a new species of being!” It doesn’t just refer to a new life in terms of timing; that’s to say, a life that has just begun. A new creation is a new type of person, a one-of-a-kind person that never existed before! He’s not subject to Satan and doesn’t need deliverance. This is who you are if you’re born again.

You’re not subject to defeat and can’t be disadvantaged. Walk by faith because you’ve already been given the measure of faith (Romans 12:3). Romans 6:14 declares, “For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.” You’re a superior being; you’re no longer governed by sin or bad habits. You’re not merely someone who has changed his or her ways of living from bad to good. No! You’re born brand-new in the spirit to express all of God’s righteousness, excellence, glory, and multifaceted wisdom.
