2021 TEENS VOLUME RHAPSODY OF REALITIES MESSAGE.

“Hmm, so is life this pointless?” Ava blurted out in anger and exasperation in front of her classmates after hearing about the ghastly school bus accident involving some of her classmates. “We come in here and study so hard till we just die off. Life’s simply empty!” she sighed. Tess couldn’t help but shake her head for a bit and said seemingly aloud: “Oh no, devil! That’s not going to happen again! I’ll make sure everyone hears His message of salvation before you can get your claws on them ever again.”

Not realising Tess addressed the devil, Ava scoffed at her: “Oh yeah, we all heard you, Miss Pastor Tess.” For a while, Tess had been contemplating talking to her whole class about Jesus before the accident happened; now, after hearing the news, she was filled with resolve and concern about those who hadn’t heard of Jesus. Like Tess, each of us has a divine responsibility in Christ to take the Gospel to the ends of the earth.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES FOR WEDNESDAY 1ST DECEMBER 2021

We’re the ones expected to win the world for Jesus Christ, and we have to do everything necessary to make that happen (Matthew 28:19-20). His concerns must be our concerns. What He cares about is what we should care about; otherwise, our lives will be empty. Life is nothing without God’s purpose.

Think about it: your forebears were here, but they’re gone; then the next ones came and now they’re also gone, and the list is endless until it finally got to you. So, the question is, “What are you doing here?” Jesus said, “For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?” (Mark 8:36-37).

Your purpose for life is very important; God’s purpose for your life is primarily for you to be His agent of salvation and partner in winning others to Christ. Be definite about this. Live for this cause. Take up the Lord’s concerns and intercede for lost souls. The Bible says He wishes not that any person should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). This can only be if you take up your role as a soul-winner and an intercessor.
