If you belonged to the world, the world would treat you with affection and would love you as its own. But because you are not of the world [no longer one with it], but I have chosen (selected) you out of the world, the world hates (detests) you.

2021 TEENS VOLUME RHAPSODY OF REALITIES MESSAGE.
It’s no surprise that when you boldly declare Jesus Christ as Lord and preach the Gospel in your school or neighbourhood, you’ll attract negative responses from some people. Your old friends may ostracise you and even call you names; people who used to be nice to you can suddenly turn nasty.
There are Christians who experience such persecution and decide not to be open and bold about Jesus; they become “Closet Christians” and simply blend in with the crowd. That should never be you. You’ve got to understand that, having been born again, you’ve been chosen out of the world and separated unto a life of glory! So you can’t think, talk or live as though you’re of the world. You’re a special breed, born into a kingly lineage with the life and nature of God.
This is why 1 Peter 2:9 MSG says you’re “…a chosen race, a priesthood of kingly lineage, a holy nation, a people belonging specially to God, that you may make known the perfections of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvellous light.”
You may say, “But I still look the same; I’m no different from the next guy or girl.” Yes, physically you may look just
like the other person who’s not born again, but in reality, you’re heavenly royalty, part of the “separated class.” He has set you apart from the general class unto the glory-life. You’ve been chosen to reign as a king in life. Therefore, live the life you’ve been called to live; reign as the king that you are! Walk in the path of victory, triumph and success! And be bold and unapologetic about your relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.

Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for choosing and separating me unto the life of glory, triumph, victory and prosperity. I recognise that though I’m in the world, I’m not of the world; therefore, I refuse to operate by the principles and standards of this world! I reign in my world today as a king, and manifest the virtues of your divine life in me. Amen.
