SCRIPTURE READING: Luke 6: 47-48 AMPC

“Everyone who comes to me, and hears my words [so that they may be taught] and puts them into practice, I will show you to whom is like:

he is like a man who builds a house, who digs deeply, and laid a foundation on the rock: but a flood having arisen, the river was thrown violently against this house, and it could not shake, for it had been founded on the rock.”

2021 TEENS VOLUME RHAPSODY OF REALITIES MESSAGE.

“You can’t come in here without a mask!” Joe shouted from his balcony to his two friends knocking on the doorstep. – Hey Joe, why are you so aggressive? his friends asked, intrigued by his stern tone. “You seem eager to catch this deadly virus,” Joe replied. Otherwise, why don’t you adhere to the safety measures of wearing a mask and social distancing? “We’re not afraid of that,” the duo replied simultaneously.

You shouldn’t either, since you were born again! ” A solid foundation of the Word of God is what will determine your response and disposition to the circumstances around you. Think about what has happened in the world over the past few months; the reactions and actions of some Christians have proven that they never had the right foundation. Some were utterly disillusioned and went into hiding to “isolate themselves” while seeking help and advice from government leaders. They were terrified of the things that scared the world; it shouldn’t have been!

The Church is not a bunch of weaklings, we are soldiers. We are tough on Christ. How could a Christian be afraid of a virus, after Jesus said in Luke 10:19, “Behold, I have given you power to walk on serpents and scorpions, and on all the power of the enemy; and nothing can harm you. This is an unequivocal sovereign declaration. You are superior to anything that can hurt or bind; you are “uncontaminable”. But you see, if you don’t know this truth, you’ll be terrified. That’s why we bring you the Word every day of God to build you up in Christ and impart knowledge to you.

Acts 20:32 says, “And now I commend you to God and to the word of his grace, to him who can edify…” If you are educated on the true foundation of the Word of God, nothing can harm you.
