2021 TEENS VOLUME RHAPSODY OF REALITIES MESSAGE.

The Apostle Paul makes a very powerful claim in 2 Corinthians 4:13, referring to the new creation as having the same spirit of faith with the fathers of faith in the Bible: “it is written: “I believed; therefore I have spoken.” Since we have that same spirit of faith, we also believe and therefore speak.”

He actually quoted a portion of scripture in the Old Testament, precisely Psalm 116:10, one of the psalms of David. Here, he remembers the mighty feats of David and affirms that we have the same spirit of faith as David did.

David had the anointing of the Holy Spirit working in his life; and as a young guy, he tore apart a lion and a bear with his bare hands, on two separate occasions. He slew the great Goliath of Gath, the champion of the Philistines, and won the victory for Israel. David’s faith-filled words to the seemingly invincible giant, Goliath of Gath, are very inspiring.

He said to him, “This day the LORD will deliver you into my hands, and I’ll strike you down and cut off your head. This very day I will give the carcasses of the Philistine army to the birds and the wild animals, and the whole world will know that there is a God in Israel” (1 Samuel 17:46). Such an amazing faith proclamation!

You can live every day in total victory by putting your faith to work as others did in Bible days. The Bible says for us to “..imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises” (Hebrews 6:12). This refers to those who, through faith, faced and overcame whatever obstacle was before them.

Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David, the prophets of old, the Lord Jesus Christ and the apostles have all set for us examples of faith to copy. We’re in the same family tree of faith. We believe and speak in agreement with our heavenly Father; we proclaim His words and they produce the desired results. Hallelujah!
