Those who have strong destinies have strong decision power.
When you lack self-control, your destiny is out of control.
SCRIPTURE: Galatians 5:16
This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: When you walk consistently in the spirit, it is difficult to fulfil the lusts of the flesh.

PASTOR PAUL ENECHE’S SEEDS OF DESTINY DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE FOR 14TH OCTOBER 2020.
Earlier, we saw that the lack of self-control is a deadly enemy of destiny. When you lack self-control, your destiny is out of control.
It is therefore, important to deal with the lack of self-control in order to have guaranteed fulfilment of life and destiny.
Today, I will give you three therapies for the lack of self-control.
1. Absolutely surrender yourself to the control of the Holy Spirit.
Ask the Holy Spirit to take over your life. Ask Him to empower your will so you can do the right things that you want to do. Walking in the spirit is the secret of dealing with the flesh (Galatians 5:16). When you walk in the spirit, it is difficult to fulfil the lusts of the flesh.
2. You must learn to say “No” to the flesh (Luke 9:23).
You must learn to say “No” to your flesh. Learn to make yourself do the right things that you want to do. When the mind is made up, anything is possible. There is always a way when there is a will.
3. Surround your life with disciplined people.
Let serious-minded people be your friends. Surround your life with disciplined people (Proverbs 27:17).
If you are surrounded with unserious and undisciplined people, your life will move in that direction. Association with one undisciplined person can change your life negatively.
Beloved, don’t associate with people who lack self-control.
Remember this: When you walk consistently in the spirit, it is difficult to fulfil the lusts of the flesh.
ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Make up your mind to walk in the spirit.
2. Say “No” to your flesh always.
3. Avoid the wrong association; surround yourself with disciplined people.
PRAYER: Thank You Lord for showing me the secrets of control over the flesh. I receive Your grace to walk in the Spirit, suppress the flesh and surround myself with disciplined people Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
