Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

PASTOR PAUL ENENCHE’S SEEDS OF DESTINY DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE FOR 23RD JANUARY 2022.
Sometime ago, a pastor came to me and said, “Sir, it looks as if my fire has reduced.” I told him that I would prescribe a treatment for him.
I told him to embark on three days of prayer and fasting without food, and pray for an average of five to seven hours daily. I also told him to read the entire Book of Acts of the Apostles within the three days of prayer and fasting. At the end of the three days, he should come back and tell me if he would not be on fire. That is the kind of exercise to embark on when your spiritual temperature goes down. Beloved, the Holy Spirit helps us to operate and pray with fire; your life becomes a fire centre when you engage or pray in the Holy Ghost.
Romans 8:26 says, Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Beloved, do you notice a reduction in your spiritual fire? Are you struggling to pray? Do you find it difficult to read or study the Word of God? Are you weak or lethargic spiritually? You need fervency in the Spirit so you don’t become vulnerable to the enemy. I counsel you to adhere to the counsel I gave to the pastor above and your spiritual fire would be rekindled. Remember this: Your life becomes a fire centre when you engage in or pray in the Holy Ghost.
ASSIGNMENTS: 1. Go through today’s message again. 2. Live a prayerful life; determine to engage in praying in the Spirit consistently. 3. Maintain a voracious appetite for the Word, and consistently engage in the praise and worship of God.
