PASTOR PAUL ENENCHE’S SEEDS OF DESTINY DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE FOR 14TH FEBRUARY 2024.

Previously, we have been exploring the characterless life of Esau. This will enable us adjust our lives and character appropriately to fulfil our destiny.

It is critical to note that character determines destiny. One’s manner is the determinant of the meaning one can make in one’s lifetime. No one can matter in life more than their manners.

We saw that Esau had no value for his birth right. He also had no control over his appetite or desires, and this made him to lose his destiny.

Another challenge with Esau’s character was that
Esau had no regard for parental authority.

Lack of regard for parental or spiritual authority is one reason many people have been cut short in life.

He had no regard for spiritual or parental authority over his life.

Genesis 26:34-35 says,
And Esau was forty years old when he took to wife Judith the daughter of Beeri the Hittite, and Bashemath the daughter of Elon the Hittite: which were a grief of mind unto Isaac and to Rebekah.
You see, what Isaac hated was what Esau did. The thing that Esau’s father hated was what he did. What God hated was what he did.

Esau’s disregard for parental authority was obvious (Genesis 28:6-10).

Esau would always do what his father hated. He married a third wife even while his parents were angry with his first two wives.

Beloved, Esau had no regard for parental instructions. It is a lack of character for a man to have no regards for authority, the authority of God or the authority of man.

REMEMBER THIS: Lack of regard for parental or spiritual authority is one reason many people have been cut short in life.
