The Topic of Seeds of Destiny Devotional for Today 10th July 2022 Is “God, The Maker Of Men”
SCRIPTURE: And Jesus said unto them, Come ye after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men. Mark 1:17.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: God is not a mocker of people; He is a Maker of people.
Our God is not a mocker of people; He is a Maker of people. In the beginning, God made man in His Image (Genesis 1:26). And today, He has not stopped making people. No wonder Jesus called the early apostles to make them.
Mark 1:17 says,
And Jesus said unto them, Come ye after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men.
The implication of this is: every invitation by God is an invitation unto a making. God invites us to make us better than how He met us. God calls you to make you the envy of your generation.
Furthermore, it is important to note that serving God is doorway to the enhancement of our dignity in life. Kingdom assignment is a life enhancer. The dignity or value of a person is upgraded and enhanced by the service of God. The lives of the apostles were enhanced by their service to God.
Acts 4:13 says,
Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.
The people looked at the boldness of Peter and John and seemed to have said, “We know that these people are unlearned and ignorant men. What has happened to them?” Then they took knowledge of them that they have been serving God under Jesus Christ as His disciples. So, no devil can devalue a man who is connected to God, especially in dedicated service. Put it in another way, no devil can devalue a life that is donated to God. Your donation to God is the enhancement of your value, dignity, and quality.
Remember this: God is not a mocker of people; He is a Maker of people.
ASSIGNMENTS:
Always remember that a call unto service is a call unto making by God.
Yield yourself to God to make you.
PRAYER: Lord, I surrender myself to You for making. Make me all You created me to be Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
