The Topic of Seeds of Destiny Devotional for Today 30th April 2022 Is “Possession Beyond Expression”
Scripture: Genesis 26:13-14
And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great: For he had possession of flocks, and possessions of herds, and great store of servants: and the Philistines envied him.
Thought for The Day: When a man is blessed of God, he has possessions beyond expression.
It has been confirmed that the Blessing of God is critical to the fulfilment of life and destiny. This is why the first thing God gave to Adam in the beginning was not money but the Blessing (Genesis 1:28).
Now, what does the Blessing offer? What is the power of the Blessing?
It is called Possession beyond Expression.
Isaac had a great possession – possessions of flocks, herds and servants, and the Philistines envied him (Genesis 26:13-14).
When a man is blessed of God, he has possessions beyond expression. A blessed man has resources beyond measure.
When you are blessed, you experience surplus and not scarcity. A blessed man experiences surplus even in the land of general scarcity. The blessing of God gives you exemption in the midst of frustration.
When you are blessed, you will experience exemption in the midst of generational frustration. Your classmates or contemporaries may be experiencing frustration; but your case is different.
Sometime ago, Bishop Oyedepo was granted an interview by a newspaper. When they came to interview him, they asked him, “Why should men of God fly in private jets in the midst of an economy that is depressed?” They were surprised when he answered and said, “We are running different economies. We are connected to heavenly economy with heavenly supply Source, and the people of the earth are running their earthly economy. So, we cannot flow with the recession and depression of earthly economy”.
Please, remember that the Scripture did not say that my God shall supply our needs according to the budget of the government of Nigeria, but according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).
So, if you think you belong to the earth, you are limited by the economy of the earth. But if you know you belong to Heaven, you cannot be limited on earth.
Remember this: When a man is blessed of God, he has possessions beyond expression.

1. Make demands on God for the release of the Blessing upon your life.
2. Connect with the Blessing through covenant practices.
PRAYER: Thank You Lord for Your Word to me today. I ask that You bless me indeed, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
