The Topic of Seeds of Destiny Devotional for Today 18th July 2022 Is “The God of Overflowing Abundance”
Scripture: Ephesians 3:19-20.
And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
Thought for The Day: We serve the God of overwhelming and overflowing abundance.
The knowledge of God has been confirmed to be key to greater heights in life and destiny. What you know about God determines what you can dare in life. What you know about God is what you can possess.
In our study today, I will give you key thoughts about the Almightiness of God.
1. We serve the God of overwhelming and overflowing abundance.
In Psalm 50:10-11, God says:
For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills. I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are mine.
He is the God of overwhelming and overflowing abundance.
Psalm 24:1 says,
The earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
Our God is the owner of the earth and all that is in it.
Also, our God is the owner of all silver and gold.
Haggai 2:8 says,
The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the Lord of hosts.
And because God is the owner of all silver and gold, your own portion of silver and gold with God shall locate you in this season in Jesus’ Name.
2. We serve the God of excess without stress.
God’s servant, Bishop David Oyedepo once said, “We serve the God of excess without stress”.
Ephesians 3:19-20 says,
And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
You see, God does exceeding and abundantly above anything we ask. This means, God does not do just what is enough; He always does what is more than enough.
And I decree in this season, God shall exceed your expectation in Jesus’ Name.
REMEMBER THIS: We serve the God of overwhelming and overflowing abundance.
ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Go through this message again and ask God to reveal the overflowing abundance dimension of His Nature to you.
2. Dig deeper into the knowledge of God concerning His promises and provisions for your life.
PRAYER: O God of overflowing abundance, thank You for revealing to me today, this dimension of Yourself. Manifest in my life, Your dimension of overflowing abundance, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
