OPENING PRAYER:
Father, let me partake in the first resurrection. Let me reign with Christ a thousand years.
MEMORY VERSE: Revelation 20:6
Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
BIBLE PASSAGE: Revelation 20:1-10 KJV.
1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
INTRODUCTION:
The Millennial Reign of Christ, otherwise known as thousand years, is a glorious Kingdom of Christ on earth after his return from the Armageddon – the place in which God will collect together his enemies for destruction (Rev. 16:16). The millennial reign will begin at the end of the tribulation period and elapse before the emergence of The new earth and the new Heaven (Rev. 21:1-2).
During the one thousand years of Christ’s reign on earth, Satan will be bound with chains and kept in the bottomless pit (Rev. 20:1-3). Some of the tribulation saints (no unbeliever) will survive to live on (with their terrestrial bodies) into the millennial kingdom. The Saints coming with Christ (with glorified bodies) will reign over cities and the people on earth.
TEXT REVIEW: REVELATION 20:1-10.
The end of the devil is near. The Bible says “And I saw an angel coming down from Heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a Thousand years, And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, ……. till the thousand years should be fulfilled……..”. Rev. 20:1-3.
Can you imagine one day when Satan would not deceive people of the earth. Such day will be glorious. Such day would be a “sin – free” day for a month, a year, ten years, one hundred years and one thousand years. One thousand years of peace, justice, holiness, righteousness, etc. that is what the millennium stand for.
ACTIVITY: Teacher should explore from the Bible passage the joy that will be associated with the millennial reign of Christ.

1. THE NATURE OF THE MILLENNIAL
Teacher should explain the lesson outline 1 as presented below in form of questions and answers.
Question: What is the millennium?
Answer: Millennium is the regeneration time when Christ will rule the world for one thousand years. Matt. 19:28, Rev. 20:6
Question: What is the nature of the one thousand-year-reign?
Answers:
i. There will be restitution of all things (Acts 3:21),
ii. All things will be restored to the original state. (Acts 3:21)
iii. Christ shall be manifested in His kingdom. Which shall be forever (2Samuel 7:16).
iv. Christ will descend from Heaven with the raptured saints and angels. (Rev.19: 11-17).
v. Canaan will be possessed for an everlasting possession by Christ, according to God’s Covenant with Abraham (Genesis 17:8, Galatians 3:16).
vi. Christ will take possession of David’s kingdom according to God’s covenant with David (2 Samuel 7:8-16; Acts 2:29-32).
vii. Christ will manifest as:
a. king of righteousness (Isaiah 32:1),
b. King of Israel (John 12:13),
c. king of kings (Revelation 19:17)
d. king over all the earth (Zechariah 14:9)
e. Great God (Rev.19:17).
viii. Israel will be regathered from the nations, converted and restored to the land under the rule of the Messiah, Jesus Christ (Matt. 24:31; Zach. 12:10-14)

What will happen during the millennium reign?
2. THE BLESSINGS OF THE MILLENNIAL
A. Teacher should distribute the following Bible passages to the students and request then to mention the blessings that will come to the earth during the millennium reign.
i. Isaiah 2:2-4; Matthew 25:31-33
ii. Micah 4:3; Isaiah 11:6-9
iii. Jeremiah 31:33-34; Isaiah 35:8; 65:16
iv. Isaiah 61:7,10; 40:1-2
v. Isaiah 11:9; Jeremiah 31:33-34
vi. Isaiah 35:1-2; Isaiah 49:9
vii. Isaiah 35:5-6; Isaiah 33:24
viii. Isaiah 65:20; Zech. 8:4
ix. Isaiah 11:6; 65:25
B. Teacher should check the responses of the students against the answer given below and where there are differences, teacher should correct as appropriate.
The blessings are numerous and they include:
i. Theocratic government where God is the ruler through Jesus Christ. The Apostles and saints from Adam to the millennial shall reign with Him. (Isaiah 2:2-4; Matthew 25:31-33).
ii. There will be a perfect environment-physically and spiritually.
iii. It will be a time of peace in the entire kingdom because the Prince of peace is reigning (Micah 4:3; Isaiah 11:6-9).
iv. The society will be free of crimes (Jeremiah 31:33-34). A time of obedience, holiness and truth (Isaiah 35:8; 65:16).
v. There will be abundant Joy and great comfort (Isaiah 61:7,10; 40:1-2)
vi. The knowledge of the lord in the hearts of men will spread, ‘as the waters cover the sea (Isaiah 11:9; Jeremiah 31:33-34).
vii. All Lands shall flourish and blossom- No more desert (Isaiah 35:1-2; Isaiah 49:9).
viii. Everyone will enjoy divine health (Isaiah 35:5-6; Isaiah 33:24)
ix. Increased lifespan-People will live long (Isaiah 65:20; Zech. 8:4).
x. There will be noticeable change in the wildlife or animal kingdom (Isaiah 11:6; 65:25).
CLASS ACTIVITY 2:
Mention what the believers should do to reign with Christ.
SUMMARY:
The devil will be bound for one thousand years and Christ will reign for one thousand glorious years with his saints in the absence of Satan.
CONCLUSION:
The end of satanic activities is very near. The beginning of Christ’s millennial reign is very near too.
CLOSING PRAYER:
Father, count me worthy to reign with you a thousand years
