DAY 10 – SATURDAY, JANUARY 20TH, 2024
PRAYER FOR LEADERS AND GOVERNMENT GLOBALLY
BIBLE TEXT(S): ROMANS 13:1-7. 1 TIMOTHY 2:1-2
INTRODUCTION
These are the people in authority, they are the decision makers of the land. Their orders are being carried out by all or else one will be punished and as believers God instructed us to obey all authorities.
LET US PRAY
- Father, we thank you for our leaders because no one can lead except God ordained it in Jesus’ name. Romans 13:1.
- Father, please put your fear and wisdom in the heart of our leaders in Jesus’ name Matthew 15:14.
- Father, uproot every plant that you have not planted in the government of our Nation in Jesus’ name. Matthew 15:13.
- Father, remove the wicked ones from government and leadership in our nation in Jesus’ name Proverbs 12:12-13.
- Father, help our leaders to be people that are seeking for peace and prosperity in their land in Jesus’ name Jeremiah 29:7.
- Father, we pray that our leaders will be humble and seek the face of the Lord in Jesus’ name
- Father, let the people they are leading walk in the fear God in Jesus’ Name. 2 Chronicles 7:14
- Father, we pray that our leaders will tremble before the Lord and serve Him only in Jesus’ name Psalm 2:10-11.
- Father, we pray that our leaders will have good advisers in Jesus’ name. Proverbs 11:14.
- Father, please by your power, guide, and control and direct the heart of our leaders to lead us well in Jesus’ name. Proverbs 21:1
- Father, help our leaders not to commit abomination in Jesus’ name. Proverbs 16:12.
- Father, help our government to take decisions that will take our nation to a positive new level in Jesus’ name.
- Father, give our leaders wisdom, good knowledge and understanding they need to lead their subjects aright in Jesus’ name.
- Father, by your power give our leaders divine creative ideas to create job opportunities for the poor masses in Jesus’ name.
- Father, let your wind blow in my favour, my family, your church and my nation in Jesus’ name.
