OUR DAILY MANNA DEVOTIONAL FOR 16TH FEBRUARY 2021.
Many of us are favoured, blessed and talented but we lack a cupbearer to tell the king that there is a “Joseph” (YOU) that can interpret his dreams. In life, who you know matters a lot. Sometimes, even if you know NOBODY, God will connect you to those He wants to use in your life. This is because relationship is a currency! God can connect them to you in a million ways – through a crisis, through a friend, a family member, through an “accidental” meeting, etc. There are heights and opportunities you will never attain if you don’t understand the power of keeping valuable relationships. For example, when they say, “Turn and greet your neighbour in church,” you don’t even know who you are talking to.
That might be the CEO of a big or promising company. But sometimes, we despise people based on their outward looks and judge them wrongly. That person you sit with in class, or the colleagues at work that you look down on, may be the ones that will lead you to your destiny helper because you have no idea who they know. Sometimes, it takes just a recommendation to change your story. Don’t despise men in life. You will need them one day. This is because sometimes, those who crown kings don’t look like kings and may never become kings but they can help you wear your crown.
That was the case of Joseph and the CUPBEARER in today’s scripture. Gen 41: 9 – 10: “Then spake the chief butler unto Pharaoh, saying, ‘I do remember my faults this day: Pharaoh was wroth with his servants, and put me in ward in the captain of the guard’s house, both me and the chief baker.” So Joseph was mentioned to PHARAOH by this Butler (the executive CUPBEARER to the king). Remember that he forgot Joseph for years! Please don’t write off people because they forgot you. In God’s time, you will be unstoppable and they will be restless! Arise today and declare to God: “Let my CUPBEARER LOCATE ME in 2021. Let the man who would mention my case in the palace appear quickly, O LORD.” Pray seriously now.

2. Pray about today’s word as led now.
3. Repent from ways in which you have been angry with men who forgot you in the past.
4. Lord God, Joseph was connected to the palace by the cupbearer! Let my CUP BEARER LOCATE ME in 2021.
5. Let the man who would mention my case in the palace appear quickly, O LORD.
6. The ALL-WISE GOD; Joseph met the CUPBEARER in prison. Lord, connect me to my CUPBEARER through every crisis encounter this year.
