OUR DAILY MANNA DEVOTIONAL FOR 10TH DECEMBER 2020.
Today’s scripture, Vs. 12 says: “For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.” Did you get that? As 2020 ends, NEVER COMPARE YOURSELF TO ANYONE! Refuse to envy them! Accept yourself for who you are! Accept that there are things that are beyond your control. Accept the things you cannot change! Stop wishing you were like others! Jordan Peterson said: “Compare yourself to who you were yesterday, not to who someone else is today.” Change the object of comparison to yourself. the urge to compare is too strong to ignore, measure yourself against yourself because God has different CALENDARS for different people! Life is like an exam in which we all have different question papers! Once you COPY others, you FAIL.
The more you desperately want to be like someone else or others, the more unworthy you feel! The more you desperately want to be happier, the lonelier you become, despite the awesome people surrounding you. The key to the good life you really need is refusing to dwell on the negative about yourself! Those you are envying are also fighting their battles and carrying their crosses. COMPETE WITH YOURSELF! As 2020 ends, declare daily things like, “| want to be better than I was yesterday” and your mind will start presenting you with new information, derived firom your previously hidden self, to aid you in your new pursuit to become a better YOU! Coronavirus is deadly; but really the worst virus is comparing yourself to others! If you have been infected with the COMPARISON VIRUS (I call it, “COMPARIVID-19” VIRUS), quickly go to an isolation center (alone with God) and practice social distancing (Stop seeing/looking at others because THERE WILL BE SOMEONE WHO IS AHEAD OF YOU IN LIFE)! You don’t grow green grass by focusing on your neighbor’s garden; you do it by nurturing your own! Learn and move on from that deadly virus “COMPARIVID – 19.” I shall see you at the top! Amen!

- In your own words, pray about today’s word as led.
- I repent from comparing myself to others. I bury COMPARISON VIRUS (COMPARIVID – 19) today!
- I repent from comparing myself to others. I shall grow my own garden” and focus on myself from this day in Jesus’ name.
- There will always be someone ahead of me or below me in life! Lord, help me to be FOCUSED on where I am going. Remind me daily that DELAY is not a denial! My tomorrow is awesome!
- I scatter/Uproot WITCHCRAFT/EVIL FOUNDATIONS as 2020 ends (Pray it for 3 days/nights).
