OUR DAILY MANNA DEVOTIONAL FOR 23RD MAY 2021.
Everyone has access to God’s favour but not many will receive and enjoy it in full. One category of people that will never receive and enjoy the favour of God is that category that today’s scripture describes as ‘slothful.’ You cannot be slothful and be a good man- ager of God’s blessings. You cannot be slothful and be a good administrator of God’s best gifts. You cannot be slothful and expect God to put people’s destinies and future into your hands. The key to multi- plied favour is diligence.
The LORD has been speaking seriously on DILIGENCE and warning against LAZINESS because your 21-day JANUARY PRAYER AND FASTING IS NOT ENOUGH! Listen: Joseph was a diligent slave and as a result, he rose to the top in Potiphar’s house. FAVOUR WAS IN ACTION! From that place, he moved into prison and carried with him that same diligent spirit and the FAVOUR RAIN began again! Because of his diligence, the chains of slavery and imprisonment could not keep him down in the pit. Hear me, NO PIT CAN BE DEEP ENOUGH FOR A DILIGENT/DISCIPLINED SOUL TO COME OUT OF. His diligence will be noticed by heaven and heaven will cause doors of favour to open for him/her.
Joseph became the one in charge of all the prisoners. From managing Potiphar’s servants, he managed prisoners, and from there, HE GOT THE OPPORTUNITY TO MANAGE THE MOST POWERFUL NATION ON EARTH at that time – EGYPT! Favour!!! That is what you step into when you get yourself clothed with diligence. Oh! Why this emphasis on diligence and discipline? I am led to ask ALL ODM USERS WORLDWIDE TO FINISH THEIR BIBLES THIS YEAR! No wonder Benjamin Franklin said: “Laziness travels so slowly that poverty soon overtakes him.” Make sure that PROCRASTINATION and LAZINESS are not in your dictionary this year! Your destiny is too great to have such evil companions/VISITORS trailing you. Pray seriously now!

2. In your own words, pray on today’s word now
3. I must finish my Bible this year by His GRACE! Procrastination/Laziness (slothfulness), I reject you today; loose your grip and let me go, in Jesus name.
4. Heaven, open doors of favour for me and cause my diligence to be recognised and rewarded this year!
