OUR DAILY MANNA DEVOTIONAL FOR 7TH AUGUST 2021.
The late Billy Graham once said: “The Christian life is not a constant high. I have my moments of deep discouragement. I have to go to God in prayer with tears in my eyes, and say, ‘O God, forgive me,’ or ‘Help me.” If you are going through tough times, always remember that TOUGH TIMES DON’T LAST BUT TOUGH PEOPLE DO. See below a Prayer for TOUGH Days. We all have hard days. Challenging days. Days that stretch us, sometimes beyond what we can bear. Sometimes these days appear as a series of little irritating events that build up to one terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day.
Other days we wake up to find one huge unexpected event that lands like a BAD HURRICANE SEASON in our lives. When your days look weary and tough, and when His FACE SEEMS HIDDEN FROM YOU, pray the prayers below: “Dear God, my CREATOR:Help me! I am so weary and worn down by this day. So many things are happening all at once and I don’t know what to do. I am overwhelmed and OVERSTRETCHED. It feels like I am standing in a fierce wind that WILL DROWN ME! I can’t move; the force is so strong. It may just SINK MY FAITH IN YOU! Father, I can barely lift my eyes to You after the order of Psalm 121. All I can do is to cry out for help because You are a VERY PRESENT HELP IN TROUBLE! Please extend Your grace to me this day and this hour concerning the following battles of my destiny (MENTION THEM).
Help me to see that You are in this and that You are with me. Help me to remember that You are not surprised or SHOCKED by these events. God of OUR DAILY MANNA; as I dwell and meditate on who You are, I am amazed and filled with wonder that You would love and care for me the way You did at CALVARY. And I dare to prophesy today that Your death AT THE CROSS OF CALVARY WILL NOT BE IN VAIN! LORD GOD, Your Word tells me that before time began, You chose me to be Yours through Your Son, Jesus Christ (Ephesians 1:4).
You set Your love on me and made me Yours. Forgive me for my failures and fears about this day because HUMANITY AND PERFECTION do not match. Forgive me for how I have complained and muttered about how hard these events have been. I stand in faith and believe that a MIRACLE and testimony is ON THE WAY! I receive them NOW! I receive them NOW! I receive them NOW! Thank you LORD GOD! Thank you Holy Spirit for what You are doing

2. In your own words, pray about today’s word as you are led now.
3. I decree: NO BATTLE SHALL SINK ME!
4. LORD GOD, turn my story from STRUGGLE to SUNSHINE.
5. Abba Father, You are a VERY PRESENT HELP IN TROUBLE! Do a thing that the world will call: DIVINE SURPRISE!
6. Declare Psalm 46: 1-5 and pray about today seriously as led.
