A wise man once said: “Life is a boomerang. What you give, you get.” Then Bryant McGill quipped: “Giving is the master key to success, in all applications of human life.” Then shockingly, Deepak Chopra wrote: “If you want something, give it.” Indeed, don’t expect to receive if you’re not willing to give! The story of Bill Gates and the newspaper man (yesterday’s devotional) is a school of life! No wonder Henry Ford said: “To do more for the world than the world does for you – that is success.” The adorable Mother Teresa noted: “Give, but give until it hurts.” Wow!
In this second half of 2021, today’s 1st Basic Scripture is telling us to manifest the riches in our hearts by helping those we have the power to help instantly, and not postponing our help or deciding to just pray for them when we have the solution to their problems with us. You can pray with someone that needs food but it is better to feed him/her first. And where the need are clothes or whatever it may be, help to meet that need promptly. Do good to others irrespective of their status, whether they are rich and poor. Do good without expecting anything in return. In Luke 6:33, Jesus said: ‘’And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? For sinners also do even the same.’’ Hebrews 13:16 makes it clear that doing good sacrificially pleases God and He blesses in return.
But when we fail to do good when it is in our capacity to do it, it is a sin according to James 4:17. Voltaire once said: “Every man is guilty of all the good he didn’t do.’’ Roy T. Bennett proclaimed: “Learn to light a candle in the darkest moments of someone’s life. Be the light that helps others see; it is what gives life its deepest significance.” Be a candle to others this year! Again Roy T. Bennett summarized it thus: “Attitude is a choice. Happiness is a choice. Optimism is a choice. Kindness is a choice. Giving is a choice. Respect is a choice. Whatever choice you make makes you. Choose wisely.” May you end well and reap all the good you sow! KEEP DOING GOOD! DO SOMETHING KIND TO OTHERS this week.

5. My good deeds will not go unrewarded. There shall be OPEN REWARD in Jesus name.
6. I loose every HARVEST OF PAST SEEDS I HAVE PLANTED in Jesus name.
7. Pray about today seriously. Loose GOOD NEWS about an investment. CANCEL TEARS!
