- The poor – work & work.
- The rich – exploit the poor.
- The soldier – protects both.
- The taxpayer – pays for all three.
- The wanderer – rests for all four.
- The drunk – drinks for all five.
- The banker – robs all six.
- The lawyer – misleads all seven.
- The doctor – bills all eight.
- The undertaker – buries all nine.
- The Politician – lives happily on account of all ten.

The above was written in 43 B.C., but valid even today! It shows a world of SELFISHNESS and I call it the VANITY SCHOOL OF CICERO! At every stage of life, the truth is: Only A Few Love You On This Earth! Most People Are After What They can Take Out Of You! From the rich to the poor! From the soldier to the politician, from the banker to the I lawyer, etc, the name of the game is “ME FIRST.” Oh, today’s scripture says in Vs. 20 : “I have been crucified with Christ.
It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son Of God Who loved me and gave Himself for me.
” YOU can only be sure of the love of the ONE who loved you and GAVE HIMSELF! David Seabury opined: “People put their interests above all others! No man will work for your interests unless they are his.” Did you get that? It’s a SELFISH WORLD! In fact, someone defined TEAMWORK as: “All for one, especially if that one is me.” Yes! That is why you must NEVER look up to any man or woman for your supply or joy!
If all the people in this world in which we live, were as selfish as a few of the people in this world in which we live, there would be no world in which to live. Did you catch that? Close with Mother Teresa: “One of the greatest diseases is to be nobody to anybody.” That is why you must love all, trust a few, do wrong to none! Trust God alone! (This month is the ODM ANNUAL MONTH OF MERCY! It is a month dedicated to do Charity works and to show Practical Love. This should be done throughout this month wherever you are. It should involve visiting Orphanages, Hospitals, elderly people’s homes, etc.
