Every sin listed in the Bible, no matter how big or little in the sight of men, is capable of destroying a believer. Thus, it does not matter how the world today trivializes homosexuality, its impact is highly negative.
In the Bible, this act brought destruction upon two towns called Sodom and Gomorrah (Genesis 19:5-7). God frowns at homosexuality but in His mercy, He has provided a way of escape for His children who have been abused or find themselves struggling with it.
Proverbs 28:13 says: “He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.” The solution to overcoming is to genuinely seek Gods help and be determined to do His will.
This battle will require both spiritual warfare (fasting, praying and deliverance) and physical interventions such as counselling by a mature godly doctor, counsellor or psychologist.
