The Topic of Teenagers Open Heavens for 20th September 2022 Is “Why This Siege?”
Read: Deuteronomy 28:15; 49-53
But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:
Deuteronomy 28:49-53
- The LORD shall bring a nation against thee from far, from the end of the earth, as swift as the eagle flieth; a nation whose tongue thou shalt not understand;
- A nation of fierce countenance, which shall not regard the person of the old, nor show favor to the young:
- And he shall eat the fruit of thy cattle, and the fruit of thy land, until thou be destroyed: which also shall not leave thee either corn, wine, or oil, or the increase of thy kine, or flocks of thy sheep, until he have destroyed thee.
- And he shall besiege thee in all thy gates, until thy high and fenced walls come down, wherein thou trustedst, throughout all thy land: and he shall besiege thee in all thy gates throughout all thy land, which the LORD thy God hath given thee.
- And thou shalt eat the fruit of thine own body, the flesh of thy sons and of thy daughters, which the LORD thy God hath given thee, in the siege, and in the straitness, wherewith thine enemies shall distress thee:

It is deception from the devil to think that one can disobey or rebel against Gods word and go scot-free. Sometimes, before God can permit the enemy to put anyone under a siege, He must have warned him several times about his sin. From our Bible reading, God was warning His children to stop disobeying Him completely otherwise, He would permit a siege.
Some teenagers have willingly allowed themselves to drift from the truth into error, based on the premise that some others are getting away with their sins. God’s word cannot lie. No sinner will go unpunished. Anyone who breaks God’s word will suffer the consequences sooner or later. This is why you must not envy the wicked, nor emulate their ways.
Are you suffering from any affliction or disease right now? Please check if you’re in right standing with God and if you discover that you’re not, ask for His mercy right away. Tell Him to forgive your sins and wipe away your transgressions so that the siege over your life can be lifted.

Father in Your mercy, please take away any siege that my sin may have brought upon me, in Jesus name.
