The Topic of Teenagers Open Heavens for 10th June 2021 Is “ Jesus Cares For You ”
MEMORISE: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. 1 Peter 5:7
READ: Mark 4:37-39
- And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full.
- And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?
- And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: 2 Chronicles 32-33, John 18:24-40
In today’s Bible text, the disciples faced a great storm and ran to Jesus for help. Immediately, He responded by rebuking the wind and restoring calmness to the sea. This shows the caring nature of our Lord. Whenever He hears the cry or request of any of His children, He answers swiftly. So, no matter what happens in the world or in your life, there is a place to turn to for stability and that place is in Jesus.
When faced with a storm, never feel alone, look unto Jesus and He will help you. Many times, I have had to look up to Him for help and He has never failed me.
Jesus cares so much for you and it is His will that you live an abundant life (John 10:10). Any time you feel overwhelmed by any issue, rely on His word. His word says He knows the number of the hairs on your head and none of it will fall without His knowledge (Luke 12:7). Hence, God knows everything about you, He knows what you’re going through. He is mindful of you.
ACTION POINT: Pour out your deepest desires to God in prayers for the next ten minutes.
