TEENS OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL 24TH MAY 2021
As a godly teenager, one thing you must thirst for is the expression of spiritual gifts. After salvation, we always encourage our children to thirst for the infilling of the Holy Spirit because He is the One who makes alive Gods gift in us. These gifts are necessary for the proper functioning of the Body of Christ.
It is not difficult to identify the gifts of God in you. For instance, if you love to teach, you might have the gift of teaching. There are several other gifts such as speaking in tongues, interpretation of tongues, prophecy, et cetera. All the gifts are given by the Holy Spirit and each individual has his or her own peculiar gift. Discover yours and decide to serve God with it (them). Note that all the gifts are necessary for the edification of the Body of Christ; in other words, the gifts are not for your personal use, they are meant to be used to edify other Christians in the Body of Christ. If you don’t know your gift(s), ask the Holy Spirit today.
PRAYER POINT: Father, please help me to use my gifts for Your glory.
