Tomorrow is Valentines Day and there is so much noise in the air already. You may even have a date already or bought a gift for your val.
I would like you to take a chill pill first and ask yourself these questions: Why am I giving the fellow a gift? Why am I celebrating Vals day? What is Val’s day about? If you can answer those questions truthfully, I would like you to ask yourself again, is it worth it?.
Many people celebrate Vals day without even knowing the meaning and why. There are different stories of who St. Valentine was and how Valentines Day became a yearly celebration.
However, it is tagged lovers day and many people are defiled in the spirit of this celebration. My child, are you giving that gift to that boy/girl tomorrow because he/she is your lover? If he/she asks you for sex, would you succumb?.

Remember, you are a child of God and you are to flee any form of sexual sin. If you have so much to give out, give to the needy around you, not in the name of Valentine’s Day. Let the wisdom of God guide you.

If Valentines Day is about showing love to people, then, every day should be Valentines Day.
