TEENS OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL 23RD OCTOBER 2020.
One of the benefits of the new covenant is total healing.
Our Lord Jesus Christ paid the price for us to receive divine healing when He was beaten by professionals with a scourge.
His body was broken, and blood oozed out from it.
It is true that divine health is as a result of a new covenant in Christ and it is free for all those who believe in Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.
However, to access and maintain it, you have to live righteously.
So, if you engage in sin, you will not enjoy divine health which has been made available through the blood of Jesus Christ.
In 1977, we travelled to llorin for a Congress. The town was hit by acute water shortage.
The only water available for bathing was fetched from a very dirty stream filled with germs.
The brother that fetched me the water apologized and gave me a bottle of disinfectant.
I was about to pour the disinfectant into the water when God spoke to me saying, Son, use the disinfectant.
I want to send you as an ambassador to all nations, you will still meet water worse than this in other nations.
Plead the blood of Jesus on the water and all the germs will die. I obeyed by faith.
Today, I am a living witness that the blood of Jesus is the best disinfectant.
