The Topic of Teenagers Open Heavens for 11th November 2022 Is “Designed for Greatness”
Read: GENESIS 26:11-14
11. And Abimelech charged all his people, saying, He that toucheth this man or his wife shall surely be put to death.
12. Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him.
13. And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great:
14. For he had possession of flocks, and possession of herds, and great store of servants: and the Philistines envied him.

That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;
God designed man for greatness this is evident from the creation. He made man in His image and gave him dominion over every other thing He created. Although, through disobedience, Adam and Eve disrupted Gods plan, the redeeming power of Christ brought us back on track.
Every child of God is created to be great. This therefore implies that greatness cannot be achieved without God. Any attempt to be great through dubious means will only end in futility and if one eventually acquires wealth, the fellow would only be wealthy and not great because wealth does not amount to greatness.
Greatness is making impact that transcends generations such that even after the fellow has passed on, people would still make reference in a positive way to him/her.
For instance, today, we still talk about Father Abraham whom God made exceedingly great. God has called you out of darkness into His marvellous light so that you can showcase greatness (1 Peter 2:9). Don’t entangle yourself with the unfruitful works of darkness. Stay with God, obey Him and watch Him make you great.
ACTION POINT
Any attempt to be great outside God will not end in greatness.
