MOUNTAIN TOP LIFE DAILY DEVOTIONAL  FOR TODAY

Mountain Top Life daily  devotional by Pastor D.K Olukoya of the Mountain of Fire Ministry for today is here. Digest the word of the lord and pray believing

TOPIC OF MOUNTAIN TOP LIFE DAILY DEVOTIONAL FOR WEDNESDAY 3RD JULY IS “INTIMACY WITH GOD (I) “

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Job 25-27; Acts 12

BIBLE TEXT: Job 22:21-30

MEMORY VERSE: Psalms 51:11

“Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.”

Intimacy with God is the key to a supernatural, mountain-top life. If you make developing intimacy with God or deepening your relationship with Him your goal this year and you achieve the goal, your life will become a huge success story and positive reference point in all ramifications. Nothing will be impossible for you if you are intimate with God.

Intimacy with God is the shortest and surest route to receiving His power, authority, anointing and grace to reign and rule our world. When you are intimate with God, your formidable enemies will become God’s enemies and they will bow to His presence and power that are evident in your life.

His Spirit will overshadow you and do exploits through you. Moses was intimate with God, He subdued Pharaoh and Egypt. Elijah was intimate with God, he overcame the prophets of Baal and restored Israel to God. The apostles were intimate with God and they turned the world upside down.

How can you achieve, maintain and sustain intimacy with God? Here are some biblically tested and proven ways. First, you must desire intimacy with God. Desire and desperation are the first requirements in the pursuit of an intimate relationship with God.

Those who know the Lord have a sense of desperation for fellowship with Him. In Psalm 27:4, the Bible says,

“One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.”

The second way is to love God affectionately. Love means sacrifice and obedience. How much are you willing to offer and how much are you willing to let go in the pursuit of or response to God’s commandments? Deuteronomy 6:5 tells us how to love God, “And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.”

Another way you can be intimate with God is doing deep Bible study and by constantly meditating on God’s word. No one can go more than his knowledge. By doing deep study of God’s word, we get deep revelation and knowledge of God. That is why the Bible admonishes that you study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needed not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15).

Beloved, I enjoin you to make becoming intimate with God and building a deeper and richer relationship with Him your target this year. Your reward will be extraordinary on earth, in heaven, now and through all eternity.

MOTIVATIONAL QUOTE:
IF YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO GIVE UP EVERYTHING FOR CHRIST, ARE YOU WILLING TO BE MADE WILLING?

PROPHETIC WORD: God will be your true friend.
