The Topic of Mountain Top Life Daily Devotional for 3rd February 2022 Is ” Benefits Of Faithful Giving (II)”

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Exodus 31–33; Matthew 22:1–22

FIRE SCRIPTURE: John 3:1-16 (KJV)

1 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:

2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.

3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?

5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

9 Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?

10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?

11 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.

12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?

13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.

14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:

15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

MEMORY VERSE: “Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;)” – 2 Corinthians 9:10

MOTIVATIONAL QUOTES:

PROPHETIC WORD FOR TODAY:

MFM DAILY DEVOTIONAL 3RD FEBRUARY 2022

Yesterday, we established the fact that God rewards faithful giving. Apart from Abraham who received huge rewards for his faithful giving, Jesus also gave His all and got mighty blessings from God.

Philippians 2:9-11 says, “Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a Name which is above every name: That at the Name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” We should imitate these role models.

Let us now examine the benefits of faithful giving. This will help you to make giving to God a priority in your life and to give even more this year.

First, faithful giving always results in receiving from the Lord and others. Luke 6:38 affirms this, “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.” As you increase your giving to God this year, heaven will bless you stupendously, in the Name of Jesus.

Second, God will bless whatever you put your hand to. Deuteronomy 15:10 underscores this point, “Thou shalt surely give him, and thine heart shall not be grieved when thou givest unto him: because that for this thing the LORD thy God shall bless thee in all thy works, and in all that thou puttest thine hand unto.”

Third, everytime you give, you are declaring the following:
(1) You are blessed (Deuteronomy 16:17).
(2) You are righteous (Proverbs 21:26).
(3) You are obedient (2 Corinthians 9:13).
(4) You love God (John 3:16).
(5) You trust God (1 Timothy 6:17).

Another benefit of faithful giving is that God will increase you so that you can keep being generous (2 Corinthians 9:10).

Finally, you will receive a reward for your giving (Matthew 10:42).

Beloved, the foregoing benefits and many more await you as you give faithfully and generously to God and His work this year. Plan to give more tithe, first fruits, offering and alms (help to the poor, needy and less privileged).

The El-Shaddai will give you pleasant surprises, in the Name of Jesus.

PRAYER POINTS:

MORNING

  1. Father, bless me with the huge rewards of faithful giving, in the order of Abraham and Jesus Christ, in the Name of Jesus.
  2. This year, Father, bless me with what money can buy and what money cannot buy, in the Name of Jesus.
  3. I am a faithful tither; heaven shall bless me beyond what I can gather, in the Name of Jesus.

EVENING

  1. Let my faithful giving provoke net-breaking breakthroughs, in the Name of Jesus.
  2. Let my faithful giving provoke supernatural open doors and elevation for me, in the Name of Jesus.
  3. Let my giving turn my pain point to joy point, in the Name of Jesus.
  4. Father, let my giving glorify Your name and bless Your kingdom, in the Name of Jesus.
